Rohit Sharma to Lead Team India in T20s and ODIs

India is ready to undergo big changes within the upcoming months. because the Indian captain, Virat Kohli is probably going to step down from captaincy in limited-overs cricket after the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 which is scheduled to finish in November. This opens the way for Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma to handle the responsibility of Captain in white-ball cricket.

Virat Kohli who is soon getting to turn 33 currently may be a format captain of the India national cricket team and is one among the foremost successful Indian captains of all time. it’s been told that he has taken the decision to share the captaincy responsibility together with his deputy Rohit Sharma, A BCCI sources told TOI.

“Virat himself will make the announcement. he’s of the view that he must consider his batting and return to becoming what he’s always been — the simplest batsman within the world”

One of the most important criticisms of Kohli’s captaincy is his failure to land a serious ICC trophy since taking up the charge of the team. Recently, in June, India lost within the final of the planet Test Championship also which further fueled the talks.

However, as per the TOI report, Kohli, Rohit and India team management have had meetings within the past few months over the change of guard, a minimum of in white-ball cricket.
